I wrote this song so long ago that the files for it aren't even on this computer. It's a perfect fit for the show, though. I considered using it as an intermission for awhile, but the time was never right. It's a song about deep geologic and anthropological time and inevitability. It's so much of a ripoff of Sigur Ros that someone should have stopped me from making it. It's one of the only songs that old that I still find a great deal of value in.
lyrics
Photographs
cataracts
all that last
of you
Petroglyphs
Cosmic shift
what I meant
to do
I took you
I took you
to a thousand years of soil
the only place that’s left to go
you won’t resolve
so come and dig a cave with me
connect it to the next
and once we've dug for light
we'll finally get some rest
come and give away with me
the fortunes we were told
a static sensibility
a handshake to grow old
TTBT has some of my favorite songs written by The Mechs. Iphis is my personal favorite due to its ties with Greek Mythology, but it's definitely an album I have on repeat constantly. yumeinati
Nearly a decade late to the Taz party, but I’m so glad to be aware of it now! I don’t know what elixir Griffin put into the album but I would like to drink a gallon of it. katiegreene137
