"GUIDE DOG" is a song that I wrote for a proto-WOE.BEGONE parody pseudo-ARG project. It didn't garner any attention, but I used what I learned to start the podcast. The song is weird-on-purpose in a way that I think doesn't make for a great listening experience, but I am quite fond of it because of its role in my life and the lyrics.
lyrics
I have been to the future
and I don’t want to scare you,
but not only were you not there,
they never even knew you.
They didn’t know me either,
I don’t think I want them to.
It’s fine, it’s fine, it’s fine,
It’s fine, it’s fine, it’s fine.
TTBT has some of my favorite songs written by The Mechs. Iphis is my personal favorite due to its ties with Greek Mythology, but it's definitely an album I have on repeat constantly. yumeinati
Love the edgy-grungy sound to this album. Every song is a banger and has an emotional depth to it - it was hard choosing between Getting Wise, Falling Up The Stairs and Пожалуйста for a favorite track but Falling Up eventually won out felixcosm
